I want to blog...

...so you get the random thoughts in my mind because I don't have anything planned out. And I don't have any pictures.

My kids are the best. And I guess I tell them that pretty often. I was wrestling with them on the floor the other day and one of them climbed on my face and I said "oh my goodness." And Ollie responded by saying "best kids!"

Nora is so funny. And getting so indignant about things! That is one opinionated little lady. She changes her mind daily about whether she would rather eat baby food or table food. She really only likes one or the other each day.

Ollie is potty training and does well about every other day. One day he will have no accidents and the next day he'll have six. He gets to "play" Mario on the Wii when he has no accidents. And by play, I mean he watches Danny play. It's what he likes more than anything. It works way better than bribing him with ice cream did.

Danny and I both started on indoor soccer teams last week. It's fun and a good workout. But we've been mostly been creamed so far. And the games are so LATE! And Danny also started church basketball last week. More late nights.

I'm so proud of my husband. He works so hard at school, in his calling, organizing soccer teams, playing with and helping out with our kids, he made dinner tonight, and he's just working so hard all of the time to be a better man and closer to our Heavenly Father every day.

I'm excited about our life. I love that we are an eternal family and we have the chance to progress together. I'm grateful that my husband wants to be a doctor and that we are going to have a long road until he is a professional. It will be hard. But it will be worth it. It's what he wants to do. And it will stretch us and cause us to grow. And it will make it so that we are financially able to serve in the church and community. A lot. I'm so excited to serve missions and help build organizations that will serve our community.

But before any of that. We have little babies. And we will have more of them. And it's our job to teach them how to be...how to be everything. How to do everything. But most importantly, how to love, respect, and obey the Lord. It's a wonderful and exciting and difficult challenge. I went to the Church Distribution Center today and bought a copy of the nursery lesson manual Behold, Your Little Ones. I'm really excited to study it and get some good ideas for teaching my babies the gospel.
